Bio.
Welcome to my page , please enjoy the paintings and poetry.

I prefer a suggestion of form to capture the viewer's attention and draw him into a discussion, a dialogue of sort, with the painting and myself.
I use a multi-layer approach to painting, where areas of the canvas are reworked several times to mirror the multiple influences in our lives, the constant attempt to destruct ourselves , and later to repair and reinvent.

I am interested in painting what the world leaves on us , a memory , a feeling , an image deep in our minds. I call this "graphical representation of the residual ".

An attempt to bring order to random and meaningless events.

I use color and textures to represent physical objects, emotions, space and the passing of time. I investigate these themes in the context of imperfect, revisionist and damaged human memory with the use of geometrical space , being of secondary interest.

My main concern is always the overall effect of the painting on the observer.
